Eligibility Criteria for Territorial Army Recruitment 2025
Soldier (General Duty)
- Must have passed Class 10th/Matric with at least 45% aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
- For boards using the grading system: Minimum ‘D’ grade in each subject and overall ‘C2’ grade (equivalent to 45% aggregate).
Soldier (Clerk)
- Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) in any stream – Arts, Commerce, or Science.
- Minimum 60% aggregate and 50% marks in each subject.
- 50% marks in English and Mathematics/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12th are mandatory.
Soldier Tradesmen (Except House Keeper & Mess Keeper)
- Must have passed Class 10th.
- No minimum aggregate required, but at least 33% marks in each subject.
Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper)
- Must have passed Class 8th.
- Minimum 33% marks in each subject.

Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Height: Minimum 160 cm
- Relaxation up to 157 cm for candidates from the Eastern Himalayan Region (Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, and Darjeeling/Kalimpong districts of West Bengal), as well as Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis.
