Eligibility by Post

  • Driver: Matric pass, valid light & heavy vehicle driving licence, minimum 3 years’ driving experience

  • Clerk (IT): Graduate in Computer Applications/IT/CS/Computer Engineering (specific posts may need B.Tech/BCA/PG Diploma with 50%+ marks and 2 years’ ICT experience), competitive test + typing test
  • Translator: Graduation degree plus a 120-hour computer course (or equivalent DOEACC ‘O’ Level)
  • Field Artist: Graduate in Music, Drama, or Dance

Punjabi up to 10th standard (or equivalent) is mandatory for every post listed here.

Selection Process

Driver, Translator & Field Artist:

  1. MCQ written exam in two parts — Part A is a qualifying Punjabi paper (min. 50%), Part B is the merit-determining paper with 1 mark per question and ¼ mark negative marking
  2. Final merit is based solely on Part B scores

Clerk (Legal/Accounts/IT):

  1. Same two-part written exam as above
  2. Candidates who clear it must also pass a Punjabi & English typing test at 30 wpm (Punjabi typing in Unicode Raavi font)
  3. Typing test is qualifying only — final merit comes from Part B marks among those who pass typing
