The Punjab Jobs respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on the Site if submitted to our designated Copyright Agent as described below. Upon receipt of a notice alleging copyright infringement, The Punjab Jobs will take whatever action it deems appropriate within its sole discretion, including removal of the allegedly infringing materials.
1. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3) for further detail):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed;
- Identification of works or materials being infringed;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing including information regarding the location of the infringing materials that the copyright owner seeks to have removed, with sufficient detail so that The Punjab Jobs is capable of finding and verifying its existence;
- Contact information about the notifier including address, telephone number, and, if available, email address;
- A statement that the notifier has a good faith belief that the material identified in (3) is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and the notifying party is authorized to make the complaint on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Submitting a Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to law, to post and use the material in your content, you may send a counter-notice containing the following information to our Copyright Agent:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the content appeared before it was removed or disabled;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or a misidentification of the content; and
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in [your jurisdiction], and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
If a counter-notice is received by our Copyright Agent, The Punjab Jobs may send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party informing that person that it may reinstate the removed content in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, member, or user, the removed content may be reinstated on the Site in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the counter-notice, at The Punjab Jobs’s sole discretion.
3. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
