Physical Standards and Efficiency Requirements
For Warder (Male Candidates):
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Height:
- General: 5’7″
- Dogras/Gurkhas: 5’4.5″
- Chest:
- Unexpanded: 33″
- Expanded: 34.5″
- Vision: Normal (with or without spectacles; must not be color blind).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- 100 Meters Run: 15 seconds (one chance).
- Shot Put (7.26 Kg): 5.50 meters (three chances).
- Rope Climbing: 15 feet (three chances).
For Ex-Servicemen (Male):
- 100 Meters Run: 17.5 seconds (one chance).
- Shot Put (7.26 Kg): 5.00 meters (three chances).
- Rope Climbing: 12 feet (three chances).
For Matron (Female Candidates):
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Height: 5’3″
- Weight: 50 Kg or more
- Vision: Normal (with or without spectacles; must not be color blind).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- 100 Meters Run: 18.5 seconds (one chance).
- Shot Put (5.443 Kg): 4.00 meters (three chances).
- Rope Climbing: 12 feet (three chances).
For Ex-Servicewomen:
- 100 Meters Run: 20.0 seconds (one chance).
- Shot Put (5.443 Kg): 3.5 meters (three chances).
- Rope Climbing: 10 feet (three chances).
